The Role of Women in Community Giving

West Point Women for Health and Development (WPW) will host a community celebration in observance of Black Philanthropy Month. The event will begin with a traditional welcome through dance and music, followed by host conversations on what home-grown philanthropy looks like in Liberia. Zone leaders will join them for conversations on the role of community in solving problems and rapidly responding to local needs, with a particular focus on a woman's role in mobilizing these resources to serve West Point and the larger Liberian community.
