#GiveBlackCT Day of Giving Campaign

CONNECTICUT: In observance of Black Philanthropy Month (BPM) in August, The Prosperity Foundation (TPF) will officially launch its first-of-its-kind annual #GIVEBLACKCT monetary campaign on Wednesday, August 29. Commencing at 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on the 29th, TPF will host its official online, and social media “Give Back by Investing in Our Community Day.”

The giving campaign, in-lock-step with the annual August designation of BPM, is a “wake-up” call for the philanthropically minded of the African Diaspora and beyond. It is also a “call to action” to demonstrate fidelity and love towards uplifting the Black Community with a direct financial investment towards social, emotional, educational, and economic progress.

The Prosperity Foundation (TPF) is an independent community foundation designed to address critical areas of health, education and economic development in Connecticut’s Black communities. TPF has the features of a community foundation, including donor-advised funds, educational events, giving circles, and other forms of philanthropy. The 24-hour campaign will support TPF programs and initiatives to cast a wider net to reach more communities, resulting in more opportunities for real change in Black Communities. www.tpfct.org
